Player Sign In Procedure for

Follow these easy steps to input your information into the system to help make US OPEN registration faster and easier:

Event Formats

ALL events will be run as double elimination with a consolation bracket. The consolation bracket will play for the bronze medal. The winner’s bracket will play for the gold and silver medals.

NEW! Player Ratings

Let’s work together to help keep competition at the US OPEN fair and fun! When registering for the US OPEN, please use the most accurate rating available to you. Players must use their UTPR rating as of January 1st, 2020, indicated in your profile. If you do not have a UTPR rating, you may use the Skill level you provided in your profile. You may only indicate one rating if you don’t have a UTPR rating. Please put your lowest rating (for singles, doubles or mixed doubles.) You can play up in other events, but you cannot play down in skill levels.

* Singles players may play down 1/2 point on their gender doubles skill level. To protest, email

* In the spirit of ensuring matches are competitive and fun for players, tournament directors will review all players. Players entering the lottery in an incorrect skill level risk being withdrawn from the lottery! We also reserve the right to remove a player who has entered an incorrect skill event, without a refund. We all appreciate your cooperation.

NEW! Player Protest Period

Brackets will be posted March 1st, 2020. Players have until March 7th to issue a formal protest if they believe someone in their bracket has entered an incorrect skill event based on their UTPR rating. You may not protest someone in an event in which you are not entered. Protests must be sent to: and must include detailed and valid back up.

NEW! Registration/Weather Insurance Program

If you withdraw before March 1st, you will be issued a full refund (with a $25 processing fee) without the need to purchase Registration Insurance. During registration you may choose to purchase Registration Insurance in the event you have to cancel out of the event after the March 1st refund deadline. Registration Insurance will also cover your event fee in the case your event is cancelled due to weather. Please read the Registration / Weather Insurance Policy for details.

Player Replacement Guidelines

Zing Zang Championship Court Access

If you make it into the US OPEN, you will receive FREE access into the Zing Zang Championship Court Sunday — Thursday with your Athlete’s credential. However EVERYONE will need to purchase a ticket to get into the court Friday and Saturday. See the link below to purchase your tickets. Ticket sales open February 1st, 2020.

Note: Tickets are only needed to watch the top matches on the Championship Court. It is free to watch play on the remaining 59 courts!
