Spirit Promotions, LLC was formed by Terri Graham and Chris Evon in 2015. The company is responsible for creating and running the Minto US Open Pickleball Championships Powered by Margaritaville, in Naples Florida. The Open is a world class, international event, which attracts the best players in the sport, as well as Pickleball enthusiasts of all ages and ability levels.
President Spirit Promotions/Co-Founder of the US OPEN Pickleball Championships Terri has worked in the sporting goods industry for over 26 years. For 21 years she worked at Wilson Sporting Goods as the Business Director for Indoor Racquet Sports. Her expertise spans the sports of racquetball, squash, platform tennis, badminton and pickleball.
Vice President Spirit Promotions/Co-Founder of the US OPEN Pickleball Championships Chris was the National Promotions Manager at Wilson Sporting Goods for 17 years. She is a certified personal trainer with a specialty in corrective exercise. She played professional racquetball for 15 years and was active in promoting the Women’s Professional Racquetball Association.
US Open Logistics Director Jim is known as the Mayor of Pickleball in Collier County. He advises and coordinates all pickleball needs for Collier County Parks and Rec. He also has created a non-profit business, Pickleball for All, that targets the younger generation introducing and promoting pickleball in the schools throughout the area.
US OPEN Ambassador Carol is the co-founder of Pickleball for All and is an integral part in the behind the scenes activities that bring the US OPEN together. She may be known as Jim’s better half but she spends her time and passion assisting in the development and production of the Open through networking in the community and being hand’s on at the actual event.
